Favorite food:
Sushi. I love Japanese food in general, but sushi has to be my favorite food. It was almost tradition for us to make sushi for my birthday for close to a decade, and it is just very refreshing to eat.
Mentor/Person who had the biggest impact on your life:
Joel, my high school economics and social science teacher. Out of every teacher I have ever had, he was the most stand-up individual who seemed to truly care about his students and treat them as his equals. Most of my teachers had a bad impression of me, but he would always tell me that I was brilliant at coming up with ideas and articulating my words.
Favorite aspect about your job:
Potentially giving people jobs and helping their financial situation is very fulfilling for me, as it feels like I am making a change in the world, no matter how minuscule.
Most Desired place to travel:
Japan. I like a lot of things about Japan. It has my favorite food, I like the climate there, and much of the media I enjoy comes from there. Given the chance, I would go there in a heartbeat.
What’s something unique about yourself:
I've always found psychology and its relevance to the “mundane” aspects of our lives fascinating. From the way we interact with strangers to why we're drawn to stuff like video games or movies, there are a lot of psychological phenomena at play. I'm intrigued by how things like social influence, cognitive biases, and personality traits shape our behaviors and preferences.
